With thanks to our auction lot donors
Every lot began with someone's generosity. Thank you for giving so freely in support of current and future Christ's Hospital pupils.

A few words of gratitude
To all our attendees, bidders and even the bots: thank you for taking an interest in our little but rather special dinner. Whether you joined us at the table, raised a bid or simply crawled the website with suspicious enthusiasm, we are delighted you stopped by. The company was splendid; the bots, mercifully, required no pudding.
First and foremost, a massive thank you to the School for handing over the keys to the Dining Hall, the Chapel, the quad, and—most crucially—your patience. Hosting a room full of Old Blues, all of whom are utterly convinced they have historical claim to one very specific chair, is an act of sheer bravery. You handled our collective nostalgia with absolute grace.
To John Williams, our Honorary Secretary: thank you for pulling off yet another flawlessly organized dinner. At this point, the law of averages dictates that at least one of these should have been a mild disaster, so we are reluctantly forced to conclude that you actually just know what you're doing.
Finally, a deeply sincere thank you to Isobel Pelling, Colin Russell, Joshua Sze, Stephania Ohira, and Celia Blake-Phillips for keeping the entire ship afloat. Yours is the kind of meticulous, behind-the-scenes magic that people only ever notice when something suddenly catches fire—which is exactly why no one noticed a thing. We are incredibly grateful.

With thanks from the programme

A Legacy of Fellowship
Each year, on a date close to King Edward VI's birthday — 12th October — those connected with Christ's Hospital gather to celebrate our Royal Founder. Recorded continuously since 1826 — and almost certainly held before that — the dinner has been interrupted only by the two World Wars, a 1947 Government edict, and Covid — and on four occasions has moved to Horsham.
The dinner brings together Old Blues from all generations, alongside the Head, the Clerk and other representatives of the school, and is an occasion to honour those who have given exceptional service to CH or achieved distinction in the wider world.
