Golf for 3 guests at The Royal St George’s Golf Club, Sandwich, Kent

An Old Blue member is offering to host 3 guests at Royal St George’s Golf Club (RSG) for a 4-ball game of golf. RSG is the No. 1 ranked golf course in England. It has hosted the Open Championship 15 times and was the first English course to do so. Recent winners include Collin Morikawa in 2021, Darren Clarke, Greg Norman and Sandy Lyle. It is a links course on the east coast of Kent, located by the sea on the stunning Sandwich / Pegwell Bay. It is 1.5-2 hours by car from London or 1.5 hours by train from London St Pancras International to Sandwich station which is less than 5 minutes from the golf course. If you were seeking to play Royal St George’s without a member it would cost £425 per person, so £1,275 for this offer. Now for the smallprint! Guests must hold (and be able to prove) a current England Golf WHS handicap of 17 or better; the offer has no time limit but must be taken on a Tuesday or Wednesday only. If your group are very keen golfers you could even stay in Sandwich for a couple of nights and play a 4-ball at neighbours Royal Cinques Ports Golf Club on a Monday or Thursday, and at Prince’s any day of the week.
